Hyundai is coming up again with its all time favourite Sonata
series, getting on road its eight generation model in the
coming year. The 2018 Sonata receives an entirely fresh stylish
configuration with all the user friendly amenities, comfort

The new generation Sonata houses a 245 hp turbocharged 2.0
liter direct injected inline – four engine under its hood.

engine. This comes along with an upgraded eight speed automatic

will be offered in 4 model configurations: SE, Sport, Eco and
Limited. The Eco boasts a unique 7 speed dual – clutch

fuel consumption in the other variants.

The side sills of the new generation Sonata has been redesigned
at the rear end. The license plate will now be displayed over
the bumper. The Hyundai logo stands out loud and clear at the
rear end with the trunk – release button hiding under it. The
headlights and tail lamps will be getting narrower with freshly
designed wheels, LED headlights and modern bumper. The higher
models are designed with unique cascading grille and freshly
modified front and rear fascias. With an overall length of
191.14 inches, overall width of 73.42 inches and overall height
of 58.07 inches, the 2018 Sonata swaggers cordial dimensions.
The 17 and 18 inches wheels flare up the look.

2018 Hyundai Sonata Interiors

There are subtle changes in the interior look. The materials
use to re-style the whole interior cabin are of high quality
and showcases luxurious appeal. The automatic shift knob has
been redesigned. The 7.0 inch infotainment screen beautifies
the front of the cabin. This also allows for wireless charging,
Apple CarPlay connectivity and Android Auto Connectivity, a 360
degree camera view and alerts for many other drive assistive
features. All and all the cabin portrays the best possible
relaxation and comfort for a long ride with good storage for
small items. The engine noise and road noise are minimal
lending a quiet and composed cabin. A panoramic moonroof comes
optional.

2018 Hyundai Sonata Safety Features

The 2018 Sonata features all the Active Safety Technologies
which has made it a reliable vehicle in the past. Blind Spot
Monitoring System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a Rearview
Camera, Lane Change Assist, Lane Departure Warning System, Rear
Parking Sensors and Automatic High Beams will be continued from
its predecessors. The new additional features ensuring maximum
safety will comprise of Automatic Emergency braking, Adaptive
Cruise Control and Dynamic Bending Light.

How many airbags in 2018 Hyundai Sonata?

In addition to the six standard Airbags like Frontal airbags
for the driver and the front passenger, Side Mounted airbags
for both the rows and Rear airbags, the 2018 Sonata also
features Knee Airbags for the driver.
